Once upon a time... a bard (that be thee), stood before a king (that be he).

   

Turn the king's frown upside down by picking pithy punchlines. Bring him enough cheer and he'll laugh his head off. Fail and you might lose your own...

  Gameplay   

OK, real-talk, you play the game by matching punchlines to what the King says. Some answers make him laugh, some land flat and some make him angry. Hit him with the good stuff and his 'Cheer' will increase. Hit him with a stinker and he'll lose cheer.

Fill up his 'Cheer' to make him laugh so hard he'll drop one of his royal items. Taking away his authority. Best him three times and he'll be 'King' no more.

Fail to keep him amused and he'll have no use for a failing fool. Game Over.
